Security In Five Podcast Weekly Roundup – 1/19/18

Another week goes by as we march into 2018. There weren’t any major announcements this week like the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. That doesn’t mean we can stop paying attention and working to improve our professional and personal security postures everyday. That’s beauty and curse of this business, there are no down times. If you are not someone that likes to learn every single day, force to train yourself on new technologies, methods and ideas then the security world probably isn’t for you.

What I love about the security business is that you are forced to learn, to be on top of as much as you can, to be knowledgeable across the board and change your thought processes regularly. If you don’t you don’t survive and become obsolete quickly.
