Security In Five Podcast Weekly Roundup – 12/22/17

The year is nearing the end and what a year it has been. A rollercoaster of security events, news around the world and new threats and challenges for all of us to deal with. This week  wraps up the last full week of episodes, next week is a short 4 episode week then 2018 arrives. In the next year I have plans to get more ‘social’ on my Facebook page, Twitter and through the podcast. I am on the team that supports open, transparent conversations when it comes to security topics. You cannot have security initiatives, teams, management kept in a dark room in the basement. You cannot be the spooks of the company because in order to have a successful security program you must have the support of every employee and department. Without them, you are climbing a mountain you will never beat.
