It’s the end of the week and that means it’s time for the Security In Five podcast weekly roundup.
This week has been fairly quiet on the security front. No major breaches were announced, there was a configuration goof that caused a big Internet outage but it was a mistake not an attack, and the week seemed fairly calm. Wikileaks released Vault 8 of their CIA code dump. Nothing major in that other than it’s source code of the engine that drove the malware the CIA. No zero day vulnerabilities in this batch. The strangest news was when President Trump’s Twitter account was deactivated by a rogue Twitter employee, Episode 110 this Monday I talk about it.
